of the best acts at the Abertillery Blues Festival 2007,
Dave Arcari’s rocking Blues performance is an act

performs a dynamic yet stunning collection of music, which
is like a melting pot of roots ingredients ranging from
country Blues to Folk, while incorporating several original

A musical play for 5
- 7 year olds about friendship and first impressions,
based on the well-known tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.
When Jack plants a seed in his back garden the unlikeliest
of friendship grows. He meets a giant but it’s not
like the one in his storybook! After Rhys, Jack’s
smelly big brother, chops down the Giant’s beanstalk
the adventure begins. Can Jack help the Giant get home
again and find the strength to become a hero? Along the
way, Jack also meets the Troll from the Three Billy Goats
Gruff and the Witch from Hansel and Gretel.

the clientele; Slick-talking lethario ‘Moth’,
an old woman taking a break from her ‘work’;
Fred and his wife Alice - who’s never been the same
since Elvis died, and Mrs Iger… “I love big
men”. Amid the bustle of the busy pub, we see contrasting,
but all too familiar characters portrayed; from those
we joyously recognise, to those we would rather forget.
Love, loneliness, crisis and conflict all play out as
the pints are pulled and the night draws on.

Once again we are pleased to welcome back our craftsmen

a dry stone wall as well as many other country skills.

Memories of a Christmases from Victorian times to post World
War 2, adapted into stories and tales for visiting children
to participate in through Drama. Write a letter to Father Christmas

School Children (Aimed at Key Stage 1. Please call for further

Creative Glass Workshops
Are you interested in making creative pieces from glass?
Half-Day Courses from 10.00am
– 1pm. This will give you an initiation into working with
glass and the skills to progress further.

Full Day Courses for those with
more experience, or those who have attended a half-day course.
On this course you can expect to make jewellery, light catchers
