The Metropole in Abertillery is a community arts, culture and business centre providing services to the community of Abertillery and surrounding areas. All of our staff are Dementia Friendly Trained and the venue is completely accessible.
Due to Government restrictions on indoor performances in theatres during the coronavirus pandemic, The Met is temporarily closed. Where possible, we have rescheduled our shows which were originally planned for the remainder of 2020 and up until March 2021. All pre-purchased tickets for the revised dates remain valid and the new dates may be found on the Whats On pages of the website. New ticket sales are currently disabled, but will be available online and via our box office from 1st November 2020, when the team at The Met will return to work from the furlough arrangments currently in place.
