The Metropole in Abertillery is a performing arts centre providing arts and cultural activities and events to the community of Abertillery and surrounding areas. All of our staff are Dementia Friendly Trained and the venue is completely accessible.
Due to Government restrictions on indoor performances in theatres during the coronavirus pandemic, The Met is temporarily closed for performances. Where possible, we have rescheduled shows up until August 2021. As soon as we have updated guidelines from Welsh Government, we shall revise our programme accordingly. All pre-purchased tickets for the revised dates remain valid and the new dates may be found on the Whats On pages of the website. New ticket sales for performances during August and September may be purchased by calling our box office on 01495 533195. On line ticket sales for shows from October onwards are currently disabled, but will be available online and via our box office very soon.
