The Metropole in Abertillery is a community arts, culture and business centre providing services to the community of Abertillery and surrounding areas. All of our staff are Dementia Friendly Trained and the venue is completely accessible.
Following notice from the UK Government, The Met will be closed until further notice. We are currently in the process of re-arranging all shows and performances due to take place during April, May, June and July. Details are on the 'Whats On' pages of the web-site. All pre-purchased tickets will be valid for the revised dates. If you are unable to attend on the re-scheduled date, you will be able to have a refund. If this is the case, please contact us for individual queries, otherwise we shall assume you are able to attend on the new date. However, please note that we shall not be able to action refunds until we are allowed to return to work in the coming weeks. Please bear with us during these unprecedented and difficult times.

Originally known as the Metropole Theatre and Dance Hall, it has had a significant role in the history of Abertillery since it's construction in 1892, and has always been recognised as a hub in the cultural life of the community.
