As seen on BBC The One Show!

The Sounds of Simon is a tribute to the wonderful music of Simon and Garfunkel.

Lose yourself to nostalgia as the full band play such classics as Mrs Robinson, The Boxer, The Sounds of Silence and You Can Call Me Al as well as all the others that have established Paul Simon as one of the most successful songwriters of all time.

Paul and Art are played to perfection, bringing in elements of their famously fractious relationship, as well as replicating the beautiful harmonies flawlessly. This is a wonderful show filled with excellent music, nostalgia, and a genuine love for some great musicians.

Dowdy Abbey by Julia Lewis

Edward Horley, the seventh Earl of Bantham, has enough on his plate. He’s gambled the family fortune on an unsuccessful business venture and he needs a quick fix to get the money back before his wife the Countess finds out and makes his life a misery. On top of this, his daughter wants an expensive society wedding, his footman is pilfering from the storerooms and his mother, the Dowager, is threatening to drink them out of house and home. Oh, and there’s a director and lead actress from the adult film industry hiding under the dining room table.

No wonder they called it the Roaring Twenties!

The Unravelling Wilburys

  • 6th November 2021
  • 19:30
  • £16.00

This top tribute show is more than just a tribute! They are the ‘complete package’, a great combination of brilliant musicianship, tongue in cheek humour and recipients of rave reviews throughout the UK.

The band play their songs in their familiar country-rock style whilst stealing a few choice numbers from those famous five icons, Messrs Orbison, Harrison, Dylan, Petty and Lynne!

The brilliant Unravelling Wilburys with tongue in cheek hilarity are made up of Sticky Willy, Thumper, Blind Melon, Walter and Honky Tonk Wilbury, ‘the real Wilbury brothers’!   They grew up in Appalachian shacks and first presented their songs in Nashville back in 1987.  Their show tells the story of how their songs were stolen (allegedly) by Messrs Orbison, Harrison, Dylan, Petty and Lynne at Nashville’s Tootsies Bar and the hard road they had to tread to get ‘em back.

Listen to “Handle With Care”; “End Of The Line”; “The Devil’s Been Busy”; “Tweeter And The Monkey Man”; “Heading For The Light”; “Mr Tambourine Man”; “If Not For You”; “Pretty Woman”; “Mr Blue Sky”; “Here Comes The Sun”; “I Won’t Back Down”; “Runaway”; “Running Down A Dream”; “Learning To Fly”; “Refugee” and many others.

 (From Facebook)

“Captured the style and sounds perfectly and with their own added sense of humour gave the audience an evening to remember”.

“Thank you all for a sensational performance last night, it was musicianship of extraordinary talent from you all.”
